Weekly guidance from Senior Meditation Teacher, Tracy Hambly.

Still-mind meditation and mindfulness practices.

Two unique group styles to suit every student.

Contemplative Meditation Group

Tuesday evenings, 6:15-7:30pm

Contemplative discussion under loving guidance to inspire your self-inquiry, insights, and growth.

Lesson: Contemplative Groups start with a short reflection and catch-up. Moving into a contemplative discussion of meditation in the everyday, the group is invited to delve into insightful meditative and yogic values and how they meet our personal circumstances and experiences. Drawing from a weekly theme, the group engages in rounds of self-inquiry together. Followed by a guided 20-minute meditation into a short period of unguided stillness, and then a reading from a selected poem. To finish, a short reflection on your own observations and experience of the session.

Stillness Meditation Group

Tuesday evenings, 7:30-8:45pm

Guided meditation and silent meditation to allow your transition into deeply restful state.

Lesson: Stillness Groups start with a short reflection and catch-up, students are invite to share any personal intentions for the session. With the option of chairs, yoga mats, bolsters and blankets, the group moves into a 30-minute guided meditation with breathing techniques, body scans, and mindfulness designed to relax and release stress and tension. Followed by a 30-minute unguided silent period. Throughout the practice, a light awareness on thoughts, emotions, and sensations is encouraged. To finish, a reading from a selected poem followed by a short group reflection on your own observations and experience of the session.
