New Years Eve Meditation Circle

Thursday 31st December 2020, 7:30pm – Midnight, held at The Innate Connection, Croydon

Dip into meditation and mindfulness practice this New Years Eve with Senior Meditation Teacher Tracy Hambly, of Looking Inwards Meditation. A sensitive, conscious celebration of self and each other, held in the bamboo studio of The Innate Connection in Croydon. Looking Inwards’ first annual New Years Eve Meditation Circle offers a small group space of 5 participants to reflect on your individual passage over the previous year and coming year. Shared discussion, meditation, stillness, and sound healing provide opportunity for your deep peace, joy, and most of all, celebration. Create revelation, meaning and community this December 31st in this soulful event.

Attendees will receive the following for the NYE Meditation Circle:

  • Journal with guided contemplative activities
  • Facilitated group reflection and contemplation
  • Guided Still-mind meditation
  • Sound healing with nature soundscapes from Flower and Frequency

The circle includes a communal supper, and attendees are invited to bring a plate to share.

Led by Tracy Hambly, who has practicing meditation for over 7 years since the age of eighteen, and is a Senior Meditation Teacher. Looking Inwards is Tracy’s platform for sharing her offerings, facilitating self-exploration and self-awareness in close-knit, small groups. Her students come for the openness, community, honesty and accountability of the Still-mind tradition teachings unique to Looking Inwards. Tracy loves teaching for the rewarding relationships and friendships forged with the many diverse and beautiful people in her meditation classes, retreats, workshops, and private sessions.

*Please note Looking Inwards Meditation will be following Meditation Australia advice for COVID-safe running of meditation gatherings, and any applicable guidelines for Melbourne. Bookings are limited to 5 attendees, plus Tracy and meets the density capacity of the studio room with the appropriate social distancing of 1.5m. Attendees are asked to wear masks unless an exemption prevails, or of course when eating or drinking. Please get in touch with any queries or clarification if needed. If restrictions affect in-person gatherings for meditation, an online alternative will be offered at a reduced fee.

Autumn Mini Retreat: Meditation in Nature*

Saturday 18th April 1-4pm, held at Karwarra Native Gardens, Kalorama

An immersive mini retreat in Kalorama’s Karwarra Native Gardens will be held in autumn. Looking Inward’s mini retreats open themselves to people seeking a communion with nature, and to drop into their own inner sanctuary through meditation. By inviting nature to meet us on our path and in our spiritual practice we are voicing our calling to heal and reconnect. On this retreat students will receive:

  • Explorative group practices for honouring inner truths and personal intentions,
  • Grounding meditations drawn from principles of unity and harmony in the Yoga Sutras,
  • Mindful and embodied walking practices through nature for bring the meditative state into the everyday,
  • Integrative worksheets on invoking the intuitive wisdom of nature within.

Cherish and blossom in a space for growth and exploration in community with likeminded people, with meditation practices that bring spiritual connection between the world and personal self alive.
